Rain has put a bit of a dampener on proceedings this afternoon, but the Ryman Healthcare Peter Belliss tribute tournament should complete its finals tomorrow.
Belliss and his triples team of brother John Bellis and Norm Scott-Morrison have made it through to post section play today, as did the current
Black Jacks Development team, as Bowls NZ sent two squads to take part.
There were two games played before the bowlers had to come off at the Aramoho and Gonville bowling clubs for rain, with two more games set to be played to find the finalists.
Aramoho BC will host the finals at 12.30pm tomorrow.
The tribute tournament is to celebrate the 50 years that Peter Belliss has been playing the sport, having started in 1969 at Aramoho as a 17-year-old.
