Members of the Whanganui Baha'i community gathered at Duncan Pavilion in Castlecliff on Sunday to celebrate a special anniversary.
This month marks 200 years since the faith's founder Baha'u'llah was born.
The group gathered in the Pavilion to share readings and a special cake made for the occasion.

Phil Smith spoke of how Baha'u'llah's coming was predicted in the gospels and he was a descendant of Abraham.
People of the Baha'i faith believe that religions should be cause for unity rather than disparity and promote the oneness of humanity.
