Benefiting from a bonus race in this evening's main Hatrick 520m event (Race 10) in the same grade she won during the Monday's Taranaki meeting is Nitehawk Rose.

The Bill Hodgson-prepared greyhound gets to run out her C4 nominations before being required to return into top grade racing.

Her 30.56s win on Monday came when she exited from the seven trap and it is the same trap where she will be loaded away into this evening.

Nitehawk Rose is known as a staying greyhound and she used her strength to secure her Monday win when she finished stoutly from the midfield pack.

As usual there's a real serious attack launched by leading conditioner Lisa Cole on this event.

Bigtime Flyer is a proven 520m chaser around this circuit.

Bigtime Bucko has drawn to feature from the one trap, even though he's stepping up in class here.

The stake claims owned by the fresh Bigtime Eve and last Friday's lower grade 30.18s winner Bigtime Liam cannot be lightly dismissed.

It comes as no surprise to see Cole dominating the open class 305m sprint field (Race 4).
Bigtime Sugar is the class sprinter in the line-up.

The query that hangs over his winning claim is his poor trap five draw, which can lead to similar early traffic problems like he struck last Friday.

Bear Inda Square has recently returned into the top class ranks and he has drawn to make his presence felt from trap one here.

Bigtime Blackie and Bigtime Blue are both capable of featuring in this dash, while Who's John Gault tends to be hit or miss at the jump.

Cole will be keeping a wary eye on the visiting northern sprinter Highland Laddie from the Hayley Mullane kennels.

This bloke lost form during the recent 318m Railway Sprint series, however he has proven to be a real competitive 305m sprinter at this venue.

A sound-looking winning prospect during the evening is the Cole prepared Daisy Lara (Race 9).

Wide recent draws has harmed her winning chances.

Drawing closer to the rail for this 305m dash has enhanced her claims.

Ocean Gambler secured a deserved 30.57s 520m win on Wednesday.

Drawing the two trap can see this Angela Turnwald serving up a repeat dose in the Race 2, 520m event.
