Tomorrow will be the 50th Jubilee of the Wanganui Amateur Roller Skating Club's time at 'The Rink'.
The club has been ensconced at their 37 Hatrick St property since the late 1960's.
The festivities will start at 2pm further up the road at Jubilee Stadium, where the club will givea demonstration from each section of roller skating which it provides - artistic, speed skating, and by invitation some roller derby.
From there, they will return to The Rink itself at 4pm for some roller hockey.
A presentation about the historical past and the history of the club will be made, followed by an invitation dinner.
The event has been organised by the WARSC Rink 50th Jubilee committee.
The club has had great success of the years, running successful River City tours, national championship events, and having multiple members represent their country at home and abroad in team and individual roller skating sports.
