Manager Shamini Shanmugan is rapt with the bright new interior of Just Jeans Wanganui.
The new store opened in Victoria Ave on Thursday, a block further west than the place where it had been for the previous 19 years.
Its lease there had run out at the same time a suitable shop
became available.
The new store was formerly Purdy's Gifts and Flowers, but the building has had several weeks of refitting.
It's slightly bigger and much lighter than Just Jeans' previous home, and Ms Shanmugan and her fellow workers, Rachel Cairns and Abigail Livesay, prefer working there.
The Wanganui store is 29th in profitability out of the 48 Just Jeans stores in New Zealand.
The franchise is owned by Just Jeans Australia, which started in 1972.
It sells denims for men and women and matching tops and accessories.
