The time has come when Whanganui artists will once again open their doors and invite the world in. Whanganui Artists Open Studios begins on Friday with the opening of the Starting Point exhibition at Wanganui Arts Centre on Taupo Quay. Originally an event for riverside studios, their idea has now blossomed into a large-scale Whanganui regional event encompassing over 70 studios and 200 artists' work.
