Whanganui Chamber of Commerce chief executive Marianne Archibald is inviting business owners to register for 'The Seven Secrets of Success' workshop.

Whanganui Chamber of Commerce chief executive Marianne Archibald is inviting business owners to register for 'The Seven Secrets of Success' workshop.

Whanganui business owners have the opportunity to tap into some entrepreneurial expertise at a workshop on November 30.

The Whanganui Chamber of Commerce is hosting "The Seven Secrets of Success" workshop with adjunct professor Mike (Hutch) Hutcheson and director of success Catherine Newton, both of the AUT eSchool. The AUT eSchool is designed for aspiring and seasoned entrepreneurs.

"Hutch is a marketing genius who has been MD of Saatchi and Saatchi, co-founder of Colenso BBDO and set up countless thriving businesses," chamber chief executive Marianne Archibald said.

"He is the epitome of the serial entrepreneur and a total genius and visionary. His periodic table of innovation is outstanding and the opportunity to meet him is worth the fee, let alone a full day workshop.

"Catherine is an expert in mentoring executives and entrepreneurs and is a great partner for keeping Hutch's creativity on track."

The workshop's "seven secrets" topics for rapid business growth cover innovation and marketing, branding, stuff you don't know you know, how to think differently, going beyond normal range, storytelling and think easy, not hard.

Three full scholarships to attend the workshop are available for start-ups or businesses that need some assistance. Apply to ce@whanganuichamber.net.nz, outlining in less than 500 words the name and purpose of your business and why you want to attend.

For more information or to register for the workshop, contact ce@whanganuichamber.net.nz or phone Marianne Archibald on 027 342 2619
