Super 15: Steve Walsh to referee final

Referee Steve Walsh will oversee this weekend's Super Rugby grand final between the Chiefs and sixth-placed wildcard finisher the Sharks.

The final will take place on Saturday night at Waikato Stadium in Hamilton.

"Steve thoroughly deserves this appointment to the final, having been arguably our most consistent performer in the middle, throughout this competition," SANZAR game manager Lyndon Bray said.
