It was finals week for the Montana Catering Secondary Schools Championship competition on September 17. Despite the wet weather some great games of netball were played throughout the day with good spectator support. Prizegiving was held round by round taking into account the wet conditions.

For the Senior Premier secondary schools championship grade final the game between HGHS Premier Reserve and HGHS Development was highly contested and competitive and there was nothing in it at the final whistle with the game all tied up.

The game went into extra time and HGHS Development took the win by being the first team to score a goal. The final score was 33 goals to 32. Congratulations to these two teams and all other teams in finals.

The results for the Secondary Schools Championship competition were as follows:

Senior Premier
Winner - HGHS Development
Runner up - HGHS Premier Reserve
