The Lodge Real Estate and Heathcote Appliances Primary, Intermediate and Secondary Tournament was held last Sunday. The weather was fine although still cool which allowed some great games of club netball to be played throughout the day by the 60 teams that entered.

Four teams entered in Year 5 grade, 10 teams in Year 6 grade, eight teams in Year 7 grade, 16 teams in Year 8 grade, six teams in Year 9 and Year 10 grades and Senior A grade and four teams in Senior Prem grade. Year 6, Year 7 was broken into two pools and Year 8 were broken into four pools. Each grade had a pool winner except Year 8 which had a crossover final to determine a winner from Pool 1 and 2 and a winner from Pool 3 and 4.

Games were 10 minutes each way with two minutes half time except for Senior Premier grade which played 4 x 10 minutes. This in preparation for these teams for UNISS (Upper North Island Secondary Schools tournament).

Games started at 9.30am and prize giving for Year 5 and Year 7 was held at noon and prize giving for Year 6, 8, 9, 10, Senior A and Senior Premier was held at 2.30pm with the winners of each pool receiving individual medals.
