It was finals week for the Tommo's Bakery and Catering Saturday Open Grade competition on Saturday.

The game between the top two teams in the Premier 1 grade lived up to expectations with some great competitive netball despite cold and windy conditions.

In the game between FTNC Premier 1 and TDO Melville Premier there was only one goal in it at half time. FTNC Premier 1 dominated the first quarter to lead 12 goals to 5 only to see TDO Melville Premier dominate in the second quarter to be a goal behind at 19 goals to 18.

FTNC Premier 1 then dominated again in the third quarter to lead 36 goals to 27 only for the final quarter to be a close quarter almost goal for goal. The final score was 49 goals to 39.
