Hamilton-based athlete Kym O'Grady has been named the Special Olympics New Zealand Board of Directors' new athlete representative.
More than 6000 athletes train with the organisation in 13 Olympic-style sports and compete locally, nationally, and internationally.
Kym has trained with Special Olympics New Zealand in equestrian and aquatics since 2005.
