Dickson, who has 15 years of amateur experience, fights out of Champ Nation Boxing with trainer Nort Beauchamp.
Richardson is trained and managed by Cairo George, who defeated Beauchamp in 2015 for the New Zealand national (NZNBF version) and IBO Asia Pacific Welterweight titles.
At the upcoming BX-9 event, George will be busy, as he will also be in the corner of Sheilla Yama, who will take on Nailini Helu.
George’s former trainer, Lolo Heimuli, will be in the corner for Helu.
The main event of the night is former world title challenger Andrei Mikhailovich, of Auckland, who will mark his first fight since April.
Mikhailovich will be going up a weight division from middleweight to light heavyweight and take on Australian Jordan Towns.
Mikhailovich has made a couple of changes recently after going through a tough time after losing his world title fight.
In a saved story on Instagram, he detailed that since that loss, he struggled with addiction, had run-ins with the law and went through a divorce.
He ended up taking a break from boxing, but said he was now on a better path.
He is now training with Albie Roebeck from Boxing Alley.
Mikhailovich signed with Australian promoter Tasman Fighters and currently manages himself.
Mikhailovich has also been seen sparring with Richardson.
The BX-9 event on March 26 will be live-streamed on PPV with CSN.WATCH.
