The Waikato Expressway is blocked before the Tamahere Rd off-ramp after a single-vehicle crash.

Police were alerted to the accident at about 4pm.

“There are no reports of injuries at this stage,” police said in a statement.

The southbound lane is blocked and motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.

A Hato Hone St John spokesperson said a team was still at the scene at 4.40pm.
