The vehicle lost control and flipped into a paddock on Frontier Rd. Photo / Caitlan Johnston

A vehicle travelling along Frontier Rd, between Hawthorne Rd and Burns Rd, lost control around a bend and flipped into a nearby paddock, landing on its roof.

The single vehicle crash occured at approximately 4.10pm today.

There were no other people in the vehicle besides the female driver.

Te Awamutu Fire Brigade Station Officer Colin Munroe reported that the female escaped serious injuries but was in shock.
