Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash in Waikato.

Police were called to the single-vehicle crash on Ngaroto Rd near Te Awamutu about 9.20am.

Hato Hone St John sent two ambulances to the scene.

“Two patients were assessed at the scene, with both being transported to Waikato Hospital,” a spokesperson said.

St John said one person was in a serious condition and the other moderate.

Police said the road is partially blocked.
