The Herald understands police are forensically examining the bullet holes in the SUV and the weapons seized from Pink.
He was granted police bail to the Waikato District Health Board's Henry Bennett Centre at the weekend. He was today granted leave ahead of his court appearance.
Police earlier confirmed a 45-year-old man was due to appear in the Hamilton District Court on Wednesday on charges of unlawful possession of firearms.
A community meeting is being held in the tiny Waikato town on Thursday night in an effort to re-address community concerns about its increasing levels of crime.
Pink hijacked another meeting held earlier this month by saying he would give P dealers in the town 24 hours to get out - or they would be spoken to.
He claims to have since kicked out 14 dealers from the area.
Police said they could not comment further now the matter was before the courts.
Pink could not be reached for comment.
