Civil Construction Services is making steady progress on the new Pop 'n' Good Bike Park, playground extension and family area on Gorst Ave.

New steps will link the Pop 'n' Good Bike Park and Pioneer Walkway.

Council is hoping the park will be completed by Christmas, and with good weather and a big team of workers and equipment on site it is looking possible.

The new facilities will link the existing Pioneer Park Playground, Te Awamutu Rose Gardens and Pioneer Walkway and create more family-friendly amenities to the developing Te Awamutu Hub.
