A 72-year-old man reported missing earlier today has now been found.

Police had issued an earlier appeal for any information about the man, who has last week seen at his Taupō home at 7.45am.

The appeal was issued on Facebook and shared by the media.

In a post this afternoon, police confirmed the man has been found.

“Thanks to everyone who shared our post or helped with information,” police said.
