Police earlier said motorists could expect delays on State Highway 27 near Waharoa.

A Waikato highway has reopened after being closed due to a police operation.

Police notified the public of the closure of a part of State Highway 27, near Waharoa, shortly before 10am this morning.

They said motorists could expect delays on State Highway 27, near Seddon St, at Waharoa.

“The road is closed due to an ongoing police operation.”
