State Highway 1 crash north of Motutere blocks road, expect delays

State Highway 1 between Taupō and Tūrangi is blocked due to a crash.

Police were called to the crash involving a truck and a car, just north of the Motutere township about 12.30pm, police said.

“Initial indicators are that there are injuries.

“Motorists are advised to avoid the area where possible and expect delays.”
