SH1 Putāruru has reopened after two-vehicle crash with reports of serious injuries closed the highway earlier

State Highway 1, Putāruru has re-opened after it was closed earlier following a serious crash.

The two-vehicle crash was reported to police just before 2.40pm.

“Initial indications are that there are serious injuries,” police said in a statement.

The Serious Crash Unit has been notified.
