SH25: Truck trailer rolls at Pumpkin Hill in Coromandel

The incident was reported on State Highway 25 in the vicinity of Pumpkin Hill near Tairua.

A truck trailer has rolled on State Highway 25 in the Coromandel.

Emergency services responded to an incident on State Highway 25, Main Rd, at Pumpkin Hill, shortly after 1.15pm.

While police reported a truck had rolled between Ocean Beach Rd and Tairua Whitianga Rd on the highway, Fire and Emergency New Zealand reported it was a truck trailer that had rolled.

Fire and Emergency said a crew from Tairua attended and assisted with traffic control.

“A truck was on the side of the road and the trailer had rolled.”

Police earlier said emergency services were on their way to the scene and traffic management was being organised, but did not have any new information to hand.

There were no reports of injuries, however, motorists were expected to experience delays and use other routes if possible.

Hato Hone St John said it was notified at 3.40pm but its services were not required.
