A rubbish truck has collided with a power pole in Kihikihi.

A rubbish truck collided with a power pole on Lyon Street in Kihikihi on Tuesday, May 26 at about 9:25am.

Nobody was injured but Lyon St was cordoned off by Police between Balance St and Sheehan St as there were wires on the ground.

The power in the area surrounding Lyon, Balance and Sheehan streets was off for the remainder of the repair but was expected to be back on by 3pm.
