Police divers will search lakes in the area where a Waikato woman was reported missing more than a week ago.

Kim Louise Richmond was last seen on the morning of Sunday, July 31, when she left her home in a silver 2014 Ford Ranger ute, registration number HKD553.

Police have not been informed of any sightings of Richmond or her vehicle. The police dive squad will now search Lake Arapuni and Lake Waipapa, in the eastern Otorohanga area.

Police believe Richmond headed south when she left her Wharepapa South farm.

She is aged 42 and is described as being of thin build, about 162cm tall with an olive complexion and dark hair.

Anyone with any information related to Richmond's whereabouts should contact Detective Sergeant Paul Van Der Zee of Te Awamutu CIB on (07) 8720100 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
