One dead, two injured after crash on River Rd, Hamilton

A man is dead and two others are injured after a crash in Flagstaff, Hamilton, this morning.

Police say it appears that three cars were involved in the crash, which occurred on River Rd, at about 8.20am.

One woman suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital.

A third person
with minor injuries was treated at the scene.

Cordons are in place on River Rd, near the intersection with Kay Rd.

The road was expected to be closed for several hours while the serious cash unit examines the crash site.
