Nine people have been arrested in Hamilton following two burglaries in the area last night.
Police said early this morning, they located two vehicles fleeing the scene of two burglaries, one at Hamilton Kathmandu and the other at the Hamilton Mill Liquorsave.
Police said officers pursued the vehicles until theystopped, however the occupants ran off.
A team from Hamilton and the surrounding area responded, and the Hamilton dog unit was deployed.
Police said nine people have since been arrested, and three vehicles have been seized. A large amount of property from both stores, has also been recovered.
