Ngāruawāhia crash closes Duke St and River Rd, critical injuries reported

Emergency services were called to intersection of Duke St and River Rd about 7am.

A serious crash has closed a Ngāruawāhia road this morning.

Police were called to the two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Duke St and River Rd about 7am.

“Initial indicators are there have been critical injuries,” police said.

“The intersection will remain closed for some time while emergency services work at the scene.”

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect delays.
