A feast of music is on offer this Sunday with a variety of world music being presented by a cappella singing groups from Auckland and Hamilton in a concert called Universal Harmonies.
The show is at 2.30pm at Te Whare Tapere Iti in the Gallagher Performing Arts Centre, University of
Waikato (gate two off Knighton Rd).
The concert is a charity fundraiser, with proceeds going to World Vision to help ease the suffering in the Syrian refugee crisis.
The concert features two groups: World Voices from Hamilton and Volcanic City Voices from Auckland.
The singers will offer a smorgasbord of music, including vocal harmonies and rhythms from Africa, the Balkans, the Caucasian mountains of Georgia, Pacific countries and other areas.
