A man died of a gunshot wound in Hamilton yesterday.
Detective Sergeant Terri Wilson said a man was shot at Seddon Rd, Frankton, Hamilton at about 8.15pm on Tuesday.
"Police will remain at the Seddon Rd address today, and the following days where a scene examination will be undertaken withthe assistance of scientists from ESR."
A 23-year-old woman is to appear in the Hamilton District Court charged with firearms-related offences.
