A logging truck rolled in Taupō, around 1pm on 12 January 2024.

State Highway 1 has reopened after a logging truck rolled in Taupō and caused a partial blockage.

Emergency services were called to the incident on Lake Terrace near the SH1 intersection at 1.12pm, police said.

The two-trailer truck was blocking the road and there did not appear to be any injuries, police said.

The police district command centre was “unaware of another vehicle having been involved in the crash”.
