More than 50 per cent of LJ Hooker Te Awamutu's team of real estate agents sit within the top 15 per cent of salespeople within the brand's group in New Zealand.

And an agent who is rather fresh to the industry has reached a level where they rank among the top 2.5 per cent of salespeople.

Braden Chick has not even been a real estate agent for two years and has already collected many awards and successes.

To reach the 2.5 per cent ranking means to become a part of the LJ Hooker 500 club, this came after achieving its multimillion-dollar chapter that means a salesperson is within the top 7 per cent.

Ian Jones, Fiona Collins and Gary Derbyshire have also achieved multimillion-dollar chapter statuses. While Ema Wilson, Nadine Wells and Mark Weal joined the Captains Club and Pamela Thackray requalified for it.

"I would like to thank our team for their valued contribution to what has been a challenging and demanding year. The continued focus and delivery of great client outcomes has made 2021 another successful year for LJ Hooker," says Te Awamutu LJ Hooker branch manager Tanya Hollobon.

Braden also went on to receive the national award for Best Sales Volume Growth 2020/2021.

On receiving such success, he says he expected it of himself.

"I have high expectations," says Braden.

"As far as I am concerned, I haven't even got started. I've got a lot of things that I want to do."

And he says he wouldn't have been able to reach the success he has without the team he works with.

"For me I wouldn't have been able to achieve all this anywhere else; it's the team around me that makes it all worthwhile," says Braden.

While Braden has big goals for his career, getting his start at LJ Hooker Te Awamutu under owner Ken Hagen has set him up for success.

"I had to go somewhere to get the experience and since I was a young buck I've looked up to Ken," says Braden.

"As far as I am concerned he is the legend of Te Awamutu real estate and the guy I wanted to learn off."
