Waikato police are warning people of an armed man on the run after breaching bail on 18 serious assault, drug and domestic violence offences.
They say Isaac Simon is travelling frequently between the Waikato and Bay of Plenty.
He's thought to have been involved in an incident in an East
Hamilton club where shots were fired at two people.
Police Communications spokesman Andrew McAlley warns Isaac Simon has access to firearms and has an extensive criminal history, much of which involves violent offending.
"He's been involved over recent months in a number of serious incidents, one of which was a domestic incidence where he's allegedly assaulted his estranged partner."
Simon's described as a 39-year-old male Maori of medium build around 165-centimetres tall and should not be approached.
"This guy is dangerous, he's believed to be actively avoiding police. A key thing if you do see him and recognise him, don't approach him. Call 111."
