Police said the two teens were found "safe and well".

The two teenage girls who have been missing for over 24 hours have been found safe.

The two girls, aged 13 and 17 were last seen in the Hamilton central area around 3pm on Friday.

A police spokesperson said both girls were believed to be wearing black pants and a white hoody and may have been at the Hamilton Transport Centre yesterday afternoon.

“Police and their families have concerns for their welfare.”

This morning, police said they were found “safe and well”.
