A truck driver has received moderate injuries after his truck rolled over in Hauraki this morning.

A police spokesperson said the rollover was reported about 9.30am. The incident occurred on Hauraki Rd between Orchard East Rd and Huirau Rd.

“Traffic management is in place.”

Police said the driver was “trapped initially” and had to break a window to get out of the vehicle.

A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesperson said two crews from Ngatea and one crew from Turua attended the incident.

“When crews arrived they located a truck in the ditch. The driver was outside the vehicle.”
