Several people robbed a teenager on Saturday night in Hamilton across the street from a police station.

A police spokesperson said the boy reported having his bike, cash and other property stolen in Flagstaff.

“The victim has advised there were several people but we don’t have an exact number,” the spokesperson said.

The spokesperson said the location of the incident was “near the dairy or shops” on Endeavour Ave.

The Flagstaff shops at the intersection of Endeavour Ave and River Rd are across the street from the Hamilton North police station.

The spokesperson said police were “following positive lines of inquiry in relation to identifying those responsible”.

Anyone with information which could help the police is asked to get in touch via 105 and quote event number 250105/5136.
