Hamilton stabbing leaves man in critical condition

One person has been arrested after a man was stabbed in Hamilton.

The man, in his twenties, is in critical condition following the incident on Langdon Lane, Melville.

Police were called to the address following reports of an assault at about 10.15pm on Saturday.

The parties were known to each other and police are not seeking anyone else in relation to the stabbing.

Police said a scene examination was to be carried out tonight as enquiries continued.
