Hamilton police have launched an investigation after a man was critically injured in an early morning assault today.
A police spokesperson said the man was assaulted outside his home on Sefton Cres at around 4.25am.
He is currently in a critical but stable conditionin hospital, police said.
“Police would like to hear from anyone who has CCTV in the Sefton Cres area, or anyone who may have heard or seen anything relevant to our investigation.”
