Police want the public’s help in identifying a man and vehicle following an assault in Hamilton East in February.

The victim received moderate injuries in the assault on Clyde St on February 17.

Constable Jordyn Paekau said the victim was shaken by the incident and believed the man pictured could help with their inquiries.

“He was with two other men in a silver-coloured Toyota Fielder Corolla – similar to the one pictured," Paekau said.

“If you recognise this man or the vehicle, or have any information that could assist police, please contact 105 either online or over the phone.
