Robbers targeted a Hamilton Domino's pizza franchise overnight, but it is unclear what was taken in the heist.

Waikato Senior Sergeant Andrew Mortimore said up to four offenders threatened the attendant at the franchise in Clarkin Rd about 11pm.

"I don't know how many staff were on site at the time and it's unsure at this stage exactly what the [robbers] left with, however they did leave in what appears to be a stolen vehicle."

Mortimore said the stolen vehicle was a Ford Territory.

He couldn't confirm reports that cash was stolen and that a staff member suffered minor injuries.
