Frankton will be alive with music, food and shopping galore on Saturday night.
Commerce St in Frankton is the place to be tomorrow night with the inception of night trading with a difference.
Forlongs and other retailers will be open for late night Christmas shopping, along with a variety of stalls and food in the street.
To celebrate the inaugural event a stagewill be placed on the road outside the Frankton Hotel to host a variety of cultural performances, as well as a talent search.
"There will be competitions and cash prizes to add to the mix to make it a fun family outing," said market organiser Vinod Bhikha.
"There will also be a variety of classic cars and bikes on show for everyone to view."
A focus will also be given to the Filipino community and the recent typhoon in their home country.
"A fully-sponsored sausage sizzle outside the Frankton Butchery and a relief fund collection after their cultural performance will need your support," said Mr Bhikha.
