There have been no reported injuries at a house fire in Waikato.

Northern fire communications shift manager Megan Ruru said crews were called to Hopuhopu, north of Ngaruawahia, about 2pm today.

On arrival, firefighters found the house well involved. A fire appliance from Huntly was also helping the two Ngaruawahia crews contain the blaze.

However, she confirmed that there was nobody inside the house at the time of the fire.
