Petrol heads, European classic car enthusiasts and spectators will converge on Te Awamutu Race Course on Sunday for the 22nd annual Waikato Triumph Car Club's Classic Car Show and Swap Meet.
Last year 265 show cars turned up for judging and the grounds were littered with trailers and stalls offeringa every type of parts, engines and memorabilia imaginable.
This year organisers have invited more than 70 car clubs to take part and all classic car owners are also welcome to participate.
Members of the Te Awamutu Fire Brigade will put on a jaws of life display and it is hoped the Westpac Air Ambulance helicopter will make an appearance.
Show cars and sellers enter at 7am and gates open for the public at 7.30am.
Entry charges are a gold coin donation for show car drivers, $5 for passengers, swap meet sellers $10 per site, spectators $5 and children under 12 free.
