With a troupe of skilled young Kiwi artists performing a dizzying array of acts, including juggling, aerial net, hula hoops, trapeze, Chinese pole, clown routines, object manipulation, aerial hoop, magic, acrobatics and adagio.
"We try for a show with broad appeal and believe circus should be about fun, as well as being awe inspiring for the whole family," said ringmaster Damian Gordon.
Simple half- time concessions consist of fresh popcorn and hand-rolled candy floss, alongside drinks and lolly bags. In an effort to keep the costs of the show affordable there is no merchandising, souvenirs or fried food sold.
Tickets start at $13 for children and $18 for adults with children three and under free. Whanau and group discounts are available. It is recommended buying tickets early or booking at www.circusaotearoa.co.nz.
Circus Aotearoa is at Fraser Tech Park on the corner of Mill Rd and Norton St until June 2.
