The Chiefs have signed two further players for their 2015 Super Rugby campaign.

Tasman hooker Quentin MacDonald and Waikato captain Brad Weber have both put pen to paper, with MacDonald returning home after playing for Munster in Ireland.

Coach Dave Rennie was happy to have secured the services of the pair.

"Brad has had a strong debut season and provides a genuine point of difference to our other halfbacks," he said.

"He's a top man and we're rapt he's on board for 2015.

"Tom, Straws and I have all coached Quentin at national age grade level. His athleticism, his skill set and experience will be invaluable to our squad."

Weber has played seven matches for the Chiefs, having made his debut against the Crusaders in the opening round this year.

He is a former New Zealand under-20s player and started his ITM Cup career with Otago before moving to Waikato in 2013.

MacDonald has played over 50 matches for the Tasman Makos and represented the New Zealand under-20s, the Maori All Blacks and played for both the Crusaders and Blues.
