Hamilton City Council's Summer in Garden Place programme wraps over Easter weekend, with the Kids' Twilight Carnival.
The four-month programme of Summer in Garden Place events culminates on Saturday with live entertainment, food, activities, rides and games spanning four hours.
Summer in Garden Place is an annual Hamilton City Councilinitiative which aims to make the most of summer in the city's main square.
The programme has had a family focus, and entertaining the city's children has been a key factor for various events. The Kids' Twilight Carnival follows the Kids' Superhero Carnival, Children's Day Carnival, Superhero Carnival and Toy Trade Fair.
City councillor Angela O'Leary says Summer in Garden Place has been very successful since it was launched in late November.
"The attendance at events has been great. We've seen Garden Place bustling with people and activities, making the efforts of Hamilton City Council's staff and the various performers and contributors worthwhile. I'm confident Saturday's carnival will be the fun finale Summer in Garden Place deserves."
Easter Saturday's Kids Twilight Carnival begins at 6pm and finishes at 10pm.
