Dwayne ' The Rock ' Johnson as Hobbs in Fast and Furious 7.

Dwayne ' The Rock ' Johnson as Hobbs in Fast and Furious 7.

It doesn't get old - this high-action, fast-cars, beautiful-people series.

It is a formula that has worked before and continues to work brilliantly in the cinema and on DVD/Blu-ray.

Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) and Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) are back with Tej (Ludacris), Roman (Tyrese Gibson) and Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) completing the team.

The "family" faces a deadly threat in the form of Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham).

The black-ops assassin is out for revenge after the team defeated his brother - international terrorist Owen Shaw - in their previous adventure.

Deckard Shaw's mission is personal and his killing of Han (Sung Kang) shows his intent.

All their lives are in danger if they can't eliminate Shaw.

As the team attempts to find Shaw, a shadowy agent known only as Mr Nobody (Kurt Russell) emerges and offers to help find Shaw if the team will assist him in tracking down a hacker called Ramsey and the surveillance system she designed called God's Eye.

This system is incredibly powerful and can spot anybody from anywhere in the world using surveillance cameras.

But terrorist leader Mose Jakande (Djimon Hounsou) also wants God's Eye and the team must take it off him and keep it off him and his army of guards.

And so the action begins as the team head to the Middle East then back to Los Angeles in a high-speed, high-action game of life and death.

Now all we have to do is wait for No8 in this explosive series.
