Knowing the mayor is a man to be feared, Billy realises he must find out what the secret deal is all about, while staying one step ahead of the man.
Billy is not only seeking justice for the dead man, he is trying to protect thousands of underprivileged people who face eviction from a city housing development if the mayor and his cronies get their way.
Broken City does a great job in keeping you guessing what is going on.
You are never quite sure who are the good guys and who are the bad guys.
And as you are trying to work out what is going to happen next, the suspense keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Although Broken City is a multi-faceted, high-paced journey, it doesn't completely deliver on the potential the storyline offered.
