Bean there ...
Sow broad beans now so they have time to germinate before it's too cold. In the winterless north they may flower before winter and you'll get an early crop.
Fabulous feijoas
Collect recipes for anything with feijoas in it and make cakes, loaves, jams, chutneys, wine
and whatever else you can think of. Give the rest away.
Pamper lawns
If it's been dry, feed your lawns and give them a really thorough soaking. If it stays dry, administer another drenching in a couple of days. Sow new lawn areas and reseed dead patches too.
Harvest seeds
Check out your garden for seeds of anything you want more of, and collect them for drying and saving. When they're dry, store in labelled packets.
