For those Harry Potter fans not wanting to say goodbye to the bespectacled wizard just yet, this revisits the final three books (and final four films) and melds them into one hilarious narrative.
Each of the four chapters is divided into several sub-chapters, each presenting a different part of thestory. The PS Vita version of the game is slightly truncated from the larger console version and has some scene cuts where there would be extended gameplay sections in the console versions. But none of the typical Lego charm has been lost from the Vita release. It's still classic, humour-filled, puzzle-solving action but not without its frustrations on the new touchscreen handheld.
Some of the touchscreen elements don't work very well and produce inaccurate and annoying results, especially in the heat of battle. Luckily the buttons can be used to control almost every important element of gameplay and this method turns out to be the most reliable and convenient.
Weasley Boxes are a great addition. These can be opened only by a member of the Weasley family and contain joke items that provide special abilities when applied.
There are heaps of collectables and obtaining them all proves to be paramount to the longevity of the game.
A storyline play-through will unlock new characters with specific abilities that can be used to access previously hidden areas throughout the game. This encourages multiple revisits for that all-important 100 per cent trophy.
